Resumo

O presente trabalho foi realizado no Município de Irati (PR), localizado na Região Centro-Sul do Estado do Paraná. A região possui uma economia baseada na agricultura com produção de milho, feijão, soja, trigo cebola, batata e outras olerícolas. O objetivo do presente estudo foi efetuar um levantamento dos agrotóxicos, quanto à quantidade, marcas e classes aplicados nas lavouras da Região de Irati, Paraná, no sentido de avaliar os possíveis danos ambientais. Os dados para análise foram fornecidos pela SEAB Núcleo Regional de Irati, onde as informações foram disponibilizadas junto à Secretaria da Agricultura e Meio Ambiente. Os dados revelam que na Região de Irati é alto o consumo de agrotóxicos, levando a impactos e desequilíbrios ambientais, que precisam ser acompanhados e monitorados de forma permanente. Constata-se o consumo elevado de agrotóxicos tanto de toxidez como periculosidade ambiental Classe I e Classe II.

Abstract

This study was conducted in the city of Irati (PR), located in the Central Region of the State of Paraná. The region has an economy based on agriculture with production of corn, beans, soybeans, wheat, onions, potatoes and other vegetables. The aim of this study is to carry out a survey on pesticides, as well as quantity, brands and grades applied to crops in the region of Irati in order to assess possible environmental damage. The data for analysis were provided by SEAB Regional Center of Irati, where the information was available from the Secretary of Agriculture and the Environment. The data show that in the region of Irati consumption of pesticides is high, leading to imbalances and environmental impacts that need to be tracked and monitored on an ongoing basis. There is high consumption of both pesticides and toxic environmental hazard Class I and Class II.
