Análise de três áreas verdes urbanas em Guarapuava, ParanáAnalysis of three urban green areas in Guarapuava, Paraná

Resumo

As áreas verdes podem ser compreendidas como um conjunto de terras públicas ou privadas com cobertura de vegetação arbórea dentro de uma cidade. Esses locais melhoram a qualidade de vida da população e do meio ambiente, mas, para isso, as pessoas precisam estar conscientes da importância da conservação dessas áreas. Este trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar os padrões qualitativos e quantitativos das espécies arbóreas presentes em três praças de Guarapuava, Paraná. As praças estudadas foram: Coronel Luiz Daniel Cleve, Eurípio Rauen e 9 de Dezembro, durante o período de janeiro a março de 2013. Nas três praças, foi realizado um levantamento das espécies arbóreas existentes, determinando-se as suas características dendrométricas (classe de altura e circunferência a altura do peito), a fitossanidade dos vegetais, a presença ou não de poda e a riqueza das espécies arbóreas. Foram registradas 399 táxons, distribuídos em 36 famílias distintas. Nas Praças Coronel Luiz Daniel Cleve e Eurípio Rauen, árvores exóticas ocorreram em maior número, enquanto que na Praça 9 de Dezembro o maior número de indivíduos foi de árvores nativas. Em relação à fitossanidade, as três praças apresentaram o maior número de indivíduos sem a presença de pragas e doenças. Durante a pesquisa nas praças estudadas, observou-se em média, 46% das árvores podadas e 54% sem a poda. Portanto, é necessário um planejamento paisagístico das áreas verdes existentes em Guarapuava, com uma maior conservação e manutenção das árvores nativas, visando à manutenção das características florística

Abstract

Green areas can be understood as a set of public or private land with woody vegetation cover within a city. These places improve quality of life and the environment, but for this, people need to be aware of the importance of conservation of these areas.This study aimed to characterize the qualitative and quantitative standards of tree species present in three squares in Guarapuava, Paraná. The squares studied were Colonel Luiz Daniel Cleve, Eurípio Rauen and 9 Dezembro, during the period from January to March 2013. In the three squares, survey of existing tree species was carried out, determining their dendrometric characteristics (height class and circumference at breast height), health plants, the presence or absence of pruning and tree species richness. We recorded 399 taxa, distributed in 36 distinct families. In Squares Colonel Luiz Daniel Cleve and Eurípio Rauen exotic trees were more frequent, whereas in the Square 9 Dezembro the highest number of individuals was of native trees. In relation to health plants, all three squares the greatest number of individuals without the presence of pests and diseases. During the search in the squares studied, there was on average 46% of pruned trees and 54% without the trimming. Therefore, planning is necessary landscaped green areas existing in Guarapuava with greater conservation and maintenance of native trees, aimed at maintaining floristic characteristics of the region and enhanced quality of life. s da região e uma melhoria de qualidade de vida da população.
