Abstract

Wheat is one of the most produced cereals in the world. In Brazil, its production is concentrated in the southern region where climatic conditions favor numerous fungal diseases. The objective of this work was to test different types of management for the control of rust, helmintosporiosis and powdery mildew in wheat. A randomized complete block design with four replicates was used. Two applications were carried out, varying proteic and systemic fungicides, biological product and alternative product (basidiomycete extract), totaling six treatments and more control. As a result it was obtained that the treatment followed by two applications of systemic fungicides presented lower AACPD for all diseases. The treatments with the first application with biological fungicide and the second with systemic fungicide and the treatment with the first application with protective fungicide and the second with alternative fungicide presented values of AACP lower than the control for all diseases. The highest yields were for the treatments that presented both systemic fungicide applications, and treatments that had the protective fungicide as the first application.
