Volume 19, Number 2, will count with a thematic edition about the PROFMAT.
The Mestrado Profissional em Matemática em Rede Nacional (PROFMAT) is a graduate program stricto sensu (master degree) in Mathematics. Its objective is to provide in-depth mathematical training relevant to the Teaching in Basic Education, aiming to give the egress the qualification certified for the exercise of the profession of maths teacher. Currently, it has 75 associated institutions distributed in all regions of Brazil. This Thematic Edition will group results of the work developed by the students of the Program, together with Their advisers and collaborators.
