AVALIAÇÃO DAS ÁREAS VERDES EM ESPAÇOS PÚBLICOS NO MUNICÍPIO DE GUARAPUAVA/PR

Resumo

Apresenta-se neste artigo uma proposta metodológica para se avaliar o desempenho das áreas verdes públicas do Município de Guarapuava/PR, mais especificamente sua arborização de acompanhamento viário de sua área central. Guarapuava é uma cidade que conta com aproximadamente 160 mil habitantes, situada na região centro-sul do Estado. A proposta metodológica que ora se apresenta, aplicada em parcela do município, foi desenvolvida através de levantamentos diretos de campo. Por fim, apresentam-se as discussões e análises dos resultados obtidos nesta pesquisa, onde se conclui a respeito do desempenho obtido pela arborização em questão. A partir dos dados coletados nos levantamentos utilizados, tem-se um panorama global, realístico e atual não só da situação desses espaços, mas da validade, abrangência e pertinência do modelo metodológico empregado.

ABSTRACT

In this article, it is demonstrated a methodological proposal to evaluate the performance of the public green areas of the town Guarapuava, in Paraná, more specifically, to the tree planting along the streets of the centre area of the town. Guarapuava is a town that has approximately 160 thousand inhabitants, situated in the center-south region of the state. The methodological proposal that is now being discussed was applied in parts of the town and was developed by means of direct field surveys. Finally, it is presented the discussions and the analyses of the results obtained from this research, and it also presents conclusions regarding the performance obtained from the tree planting in question. Based on the data collected in the surveys, it is found a global, realistic and current panorama, not only in relation to the situation of these spaces, but also in relation to the validity, to the totality and to the relevance of the methodological model applied.
