Resumo

A disciplina de Artes e Valores foi instituída no ano de 2005 no currículo do Ensino Fundamental (1º e 2º ciclos) das Escolas Municipais de Guarapuava, com o intuito de abordar as temáticas referentes às artes, resgatar valores e realizar projetos com o envolvimento da escola e comunidade. Percebemos a necessidade receber informações para poderem atuar frente às questões ambientais. Neste aspecto, a educação ambiental pode contribuir, sensibilizando sobre a realidade, possibilitando a oportunidade de mudança em hábitos e valores. Diante dessa constatação, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal, subsidiar no ano de 2005, 94 professores da disciplina de Artes e Valores do Município de Guarapuava, com conhecimentos teóricos sobre educação ambiental associados à práticas interdisciplinares e valorizar a atuação em equipes multidisciplinares, desde o momento do planejamento até a ação. A oficina procurou incorporar a percepção integrada da natureza em seus aspectos físicos, biológicos, econômicos, sociais e culturais por meio de dinâmicas de sensibilização. Além de construir conhecimentos, baseados em valores e comportamentos que permitam uma participação crítica, responsável e eficaz na solução de problemas ambientais e na gestão do meio ambiente. A prática nos permitiu diagnosticar enorme descompasso entre as questões teóricas e a atuação cotidiana dos professores, pois nos trabalhos em grupo, por meio de dinâmicas cooperativas, ficou clara a grande dificuldade destes em extrapolar a atuação do projeto desenvolvido pela escola para o dia-a-dia, na sala de aula. Apesar dos avanços, do empenho e das experiências existentes, ainda há uma grande distância entre o conhecimento e a prática da maioria dos professores. Desse modo, é preciso construir pontes entre a realidade das práticas educativas e o que se pretende realizar. Para tanto, é necessário que projetos como este tenham continuidade, com novos enfoques construídos a partir de diagnósticos como este, por meio de oficinas sobre Educação Ambiental para os professores de Artes e Valores, sendo este incluído no planejamento da Secretaria de Educação e Cultura do município, através do Setor de Projetos Culturais e Resgate de Valores, a qual já se encontra em execução no ano de 2006.

Abstract

The Arts and Values subject was created in 2005 as part of the curriculum for Basic Schooling (1st and 2nd cycles) in Guarapuava city schools, aiming to approach themes related to arts, to rescue values and to carry on projects with the involvement of the school and the community. We noticed the necessity of giving information to make students able to act in relation to environmental issues and, so, the environmental education can contribute, sensitizing on the reality and making it possible the changing of habits and values. Due to this, the present project aims to offer theoretical knowledge on ambient education associated with intersubject practices, in the year of 2005, for 94 Arts and Values teachers from the City of Guarapuava, with the purpose of appraising the multisubject performance, since the moment of the planning up to action. A workshop looked for to incorporate the integrated perception of the nature in its physical, biological, economic, social and cultural aspects by means of sensitization dynamics, besides constructing knowledge based on values and behaviors that allow a critical, responsible and efficient participation in the solution of environment problems and management. The practice allowed us to notice a remarkable difference between the teachers’ theoretical issues and their daily performance, because in group tasks developed by means of cooperative dynamic, they had great difficulty in surpassing the performance intended by the project developed for the school daily activities. Despite the progresses, the persistence and the existing experiences, there is still a great distance between the knowledge and the practice for the majority of the teachers. So, it is necessary to construct bridges between the reality of pedagogical practices and what it is intended to carry on. And, in this way, our proposal is to give continuity to this project with a new approach constructed from this diagnosis, by means of workshops on Environmental Education for the Arts and Values teachers, being this enclosed in the planning of the city’s Education and Culture Office, through the Cultural Projects and Rescue of Values Section, which is already accomplished in the year of 2006.
