ANÁLISE BIBLIOMÉTRICA E PROPOSTAS DE PESQUISA SOBRE LEAN SIX SIGMA<p>BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH PROPOSALS ON LEAN SIX SIGMA

Ao combinar princípios e técnicas do Lean Manufacturing e do Six Sigma, o método Lean Six Sigma contribui para o aumento da eficiência organizacional, como mostram estudos sobre aplicações dessa metodologia na indústria, comércio, serviços e no setor público. Este estudo emprega a análise bibliométrica, suportada pela interface bibliometrix, do software R, com objetivo de identificar a evolução dos estudos em Lean Six Sigma e suas tendências, e realizar propostas de pesquisa. Foram analisados 3.779 artigos publicados no período de 1971 e 2022. Os resultados indicam que atualmente os temas gestão da qualidade, gestão de projetos e melhoria de processos são apenas marginalmente importantes, enquanto os temas lean six sigma, six sigma, melhoria contínua e lean manufacturing são temas emergentes que carecem de maior desenvolvimento em futuros estudos. Sugere-se às futuras pesquisas, especialmente às longitudinais, aplicar ferramentas do lean e do six sigma, isoladamente ou em conjunto, visando aumentar a eficiência operacional da agroindústria, segmento de cadeias produtivas do agronegócio que tem apresentado problemas de eficiência ao longo do tempo.
