Liderança Distribuída e Prontidão Digital: Evidências de um Banco Público Brasileiro <p> Distributed Leadership and Digital Readiness: Evidence from a Brazilian Public Bank

Pesquisas recentes indicam que modelos de liderança hierárquicos, ainda predominantes em muitas instituições, mostram-se insuficientes para sustentar os níveis de colaboração, agilidade e descentralização demandados pela era digital. Diante desse contexto, este estudo investigou a relação entre práticas de liderança distribuída e os níveis de prontidão digital percebidos por profissionais de diferentes áreas e posições hierárquicas em um banco público brasileiro em processo de transformação organizacional. Quanto ao método, foi conduzida uma pesquisa quantitativa junto à 348 profissionais de equipes ágeis (squads) e tradicionais em um dos principais e mais tradicionais banco público brasileiro. Os achados estatísticos indicam correlações positivas e significativas entre liderança distribuída e prontidão digital, confirmando a hipótese de que práticas de influência compartilhada, apoio mútuo e responsabilidade coletiva estão associadas a uma maior capacidade percebida de lidar com os desafios impostos pela transformação digital. A análise reforça esse achado ao demonstrar que dimensões específicas da liderança distribuída - notadamente o compartilhamento da liderança e o apoio mútuo - atuam como preditores significativos da prontidão digital. Ao articular conceitos provenientes da literatura sobre liderança distribuída e prontidão digital, esta pesquisa contribui para elucidar de que modo estruturas de poder mais horizontais e colaborativas podem favorecer a capacidade de adaptação organizacional em contextos caracterizados por ambiguidade, inovação e mudanças tecnológicas. Do ponto de vista teórico, o estudo contribui ao articular empiricamente dois campos ainda pouco conectados na literatura brasileira: a liderança distribuída e a prontidão digital.
