Hackathon como meio de conexão entre Universidade e Empresa: aspectos motivacionais para o engajamento de alunos de graduação <p> Hackathon as a means of connection between University and Company: motivational aspects for the engagement of undergraduate students

A construção de modelos colaborativos entre universidades e empresas tem levado impactos positivos para a sociedade. Em meio a várias possibilidades e modelos de colaboração estão os hackathons, que podem ser vistos como um elo que mobiliza estudantes para trabalharem em busca de soluções para problemas propostos por meio de desafios da vida real. A partir desse contexto, o artigo foi escrito com o objetivo de verificar quais motivações levam alunos de uma universidade a participarem de um hackathon para desenvolverem soluções para problemas reais. Assim, realizou-se uma pesquisa descritiva, com os dados obtidos tratados e analisados segundo o método quantitativo por meio de um questionário composto por variáveis constituintes da motivação intrínseca e da motivação extrínseca. Para a análise dos dados utilizou-se estatística descritiva simples e análise de correlação de Pearson entre as variáveis das motivações. Como principais resultados, encontrou-se que os participantes do hackathon buscam aplicar seus conhecimentos teóricos e enriquecer conhecimentos práticos, ainda que sejam incipientes. Adicionalmente, o relacionamento com outras pessoas por meio de networking e a ampliação da rede de contatos revela a importância que os alunos veem em participar de um hackathon.
