O presente estudo possui como objetivo geral analisar de que forma uma pequena empresa de serviços de estética e emagrecimento tem articulado seu contexto interno e seus processos para gerenciar a inovação, sob a ótica da teoria das capacidades dinâmicas. O estudo desenvolvido tem caráter descritivo e abordagem qualitativa, adotando o método do estudo de caso e utilizando entrevista a partir de um roteiro semiestruturado para a coleta de dados junto aos gestores da empresa. Para compreensão dos discursos, foram analisados e interpretados aplicando a técnica de análise de conteúdo a partir das categorias de análises das capacidades dinâmicas para gestão da inovação. Verificou-se que para criar e realizar inovações, a empresa pesquisada recorre a capacidades dinâmicas de gestão da inovação em serviços, ou seja, recursos e capacidades operacionais relacionados ao domínio da gestão funcional, que estão inseridos em suas próprias rotinas e processos. Deste modo, na empresa pesquisada, a inovação em serviços assumiu várias formas e está vinculada a diferentes partes do processo de criação de valor dessa empresa. Como contribuição prática, este estudo possibilita a melhor compreensão da gestão da inovação em serviços, podendo auxiliar os envolvidos na gestão da inovação em serviços em suas atividades.References
